Childcare Vouchers can be used to pay for all forms of registered childcare for children up to the age of 16. As part of a salary sacrifice scheme each working parent may save up to £933.12* per year. To benefit from the childcare voucher scheme, parents simply exchange a part of their salary for the same amount of Childcare Vouchers and use them to pay the childcare provider of their choice. Childcare Vouchers are non-taxable (up to a limit of £243 per parent, per month or £55 per parent, per week) and do not attract either employer or employee National Insurance contributions. This saving can help significantly towards working parents childcare costs. *Subject to individual circumstances
A Childcare Voucher Scheme help working parents to save money on the cost of their childcare. More than 450,000 working parents throughout the UK already use this employee benefit to pay the child carer of their choice. In essence, Childcare Vouchers can make the care you provide more affordable to your customers.
Parents choose how they present you with Childcare Vouchers, depending on their personal circumstances. We will pay you the value of your parent's Childcare Vouchers directly into a bank account of your choice.
Regular payments: parents pay you a set amount at regular intervals. This is useful if you look after a child on a regular basis, perhaps in a nursery or childminding setting.
One off payments: parents who have irregular childcare arrangements can pay you as they need to. This is appropriate for those who operate a holiday club or summer camp, where you do not see a child on a regular basis.
Printed Childcare Vouchers: if you would prefer to be handed a paper voucher, parents are able to print their own and present them to you. Parents can print vouchers in any denomination.
Mobile phone application: parents can pay you directly using our innovative application for mobile phones.
Please note, that however parents choose to pay you, payments will only be made provided there are sufficient funds in their account. We will advise parents if they have tried to pay you but it has been unsuccessful.
