Stress can have a devastating effect on your physical and mental health. The Employee Assistance Programme offers a solution to help you deal with everyday problems inside and outside of the workplace.
The programme provides a telephone counselling service and an online help system to assist with a wide range of issues in areas such as stress, relationship difficulties, bereavement, anxiety, family worries, alcohol/drug abuse, employment and financial concerns.
The service is staffed by medical professionals who are all members of the British Association Counselling Psychotherapy. The use of trained, licensed professionals means that only the best help and support is provided.
The Employee Assistance Programme will help you get your work-life balance on track, enabling you to be more productive at work and happier at home. A good work-life balance means that career progression is much more obtainable.
All parts of the scheme are confidential – whether telephone or online, the Employee Assistance Programme only passes overall statistics back to your employer (unless you choose to opt out) and you can also choose to remain anonymous if you wish.
The telephone service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Whether your issue is in the middle of the night or in the middle of the day, counsellors are available to help.
